Shermin Lahka
Shermin Lakha is the Founder of LVLUP Legal, and a boutique women-owned law firm dedicated to empowering underrepresented startups, businesses, and entrepreneurs to "level up" and make smart legal decisions. LVLUP Legal practices business and intellectual property law, and Shermin focuses on investment agreements, influencer agreements, and negotiations for early stage startups.
Since launching her practice, she has worked with a variety of clients ranging from tech startups, beauty and fashion brands, artists, and e-commerce businesses. Shermin brings a wealth of expertise from her prior experience at Goldman Sachs and the U.S. Attorney's Office, and is active in social enterprise, impact, and angel networks. She serves as a Legal Advisor and Board Member for several emerging startups, has been featured in Vogue Business, and is a member of several women-founded organizations.

Lauren Madonia graduated from the University of Miami in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She then continued her education at the University of Miami School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2024. Lauren recently passed the bar exam in July 2024 and is currently pursuing her LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law, expected to graduate in December 2024. Lauren has gained valuable experience through her work with Televisa Univision, a global media company, and MSCHF, an innovative art and fashion brand. Lauren is passionate about helping emerging businesses and individuals understand and leverage their intellectual assets in the digital marketplace. She is particularly interested in the intersection of intellectual property law and the entertainment industry.
