LVLUP Legal is looking to hire a summer legal intern for academic credit only.
As a member of the LVLUP Legal team, you will work both virtually and in-person at our office. You must be an incoming 2L or 3L law student based in NYC and Miami during your role. This is perfect for a law student who would like to work for a modern law firm with clients in fashion, technology, marketing, and lifestyle.
If selected to join our team, you will learn the internal operations of building a successful law practice by working directly with the LVLUP Legal team to draft and review contracts, conduct legal research, assist with trademark searches, file legal entities, network for business development, and manage projects. You will also learn a significant amount of business and intellectual property law.
Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, will bring energy and enthusiasm to their work, can pick up concepts quickly, and can tackle all types of projects. In this role, you will also be encouraged to attend events and meet as many potential clients as possible.
We are highly invested in the individuals we bring onto our team, and the goal is for you to grow with the firm. The ability to obtain academic credit for this role is required. LVLUP Legal will not pay for any relocation costs.
Responsibilities:
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, company agreements, business formation documents, and investment/stock agreements;
• Assisting in legal research and writing;
• Trademark searches and drafting memorandums for clients on filing strategies;
• Filing company documents;
• Attending networking events for the purpose of business development;
• Pitching to new clients and negotiating business deals; and
• Conducting client outreach, organizing prospects, and sending follow-up emails.
Qualifications:
• Experience reviewing contracts and some trademark exposure;
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to network and speak to clients;
• Confidence to pick up concepts quickly;
• Time management skills;
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well with the team; and
• Great attitude, self-starter, authentic, passionate, and fun.

LVLUP Legal is hiring a Business Development Intern to develop the skills to grow and scale a successful law firm. This is perfect for a student that would like to work for a business focused on creators, content, fashion, technology, marketing, and lifestyle brands. This position is for academic credit only.
We are looking for someone who loves all things social media - from finding the perfect trending audio, perusing TikTok and Instagram, to video editing and content creation! The Business Development Intern will work closely with members of the team and support all of our social and digital marketing efforts across all channels (think: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and help create a community through engaging and interacting with followers, influencers, and brands within our niche.
Moreover, an individual in this role will be tasked with coordinating events, serving as the point of contact for any speaking engagements, planning content calendars, and managing the creation and execution of business materials like business cards, name tags, notebooks, and more.

• Conceptualize, copywrite, execute, and schedule content across all social platforms including but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Email, and LinkedIn — Intern to own daily tasks of posting + engagement for approval;
• Create graphics for Instagram (stories, Instagram feed posts, reel covers);
• Create TikTok’s and Instagram Reels based on available content;
• Maintain knowledge of best practices and engagement optimization techniques for each platform, being able to pivot between different types of content, as needed;
• Analyze insights weekly and restrategize in order to meet social goals;
• Capture and edit content in accordance with social strategy;
• Assist with photoshoot production, creating shotlists, and content brief;
• Edit and repurpose content in an engaging and on brand manner;
• Create and execute administrative items like business cards, notebooks, and name tags; and
• Attend brand events.
Qualifications:
• Have the ability to adhere to coordinate, communicate, and adhere to deadlines/timelines;
• Are highly proficient in video editing and Canva;
• Are well-versed in social media + trends on platforms including but not limited to: TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn; and
• Have a great attitude, self-starter, authentic, passionate, and fun.
